I was going to be constructive. But meh.
Hardest for me was Majesty's rest.
Rest was easy with MM bomber.

the backline is absolutely terrible, a single SF with BA to supply random burning is crap. 3 rangers are too much, you never heard of warriors, minions are actually crap in HM if you don't bomb them etc etc.
I don't guess it sucked too bad considering it vanquished three continents and GW:EN.

But hey, what the hell do I know, I'm just a guy who doesn't like Sabway, I mean, of course, anyone who doesn't like the flavor of the month is a noob and deserves to die right?

Pff.

EDIT: Just thinking about the fact that you just came into a thread titled Legendary Vanquishers and said one of the Vanq Builds sucked made me giggle on the inside.

For what it's worth, I don't think the team build the OP has is all that bad. Looks kinda fun, actually. What did you replace the MM with in the areas that didn't have enough corpses?

Edit: Also, I've never had any luck with the Hero AI using Epidemic at all. Did it work for you?

Ok first of all please DONT call it Sabway, its just wrong perdiod
And although i dont aggree with FotM builds in PvP, i really dont care about them in PvE. Vanquishing is the most retarded gameplay in GW, and FotM builds do make it that tad more bareable.

Secondly Sabs build synergise very well with just each, but you can expand them if you have a friend to make basically the perfect Hero Team, if you are good at making builds that is. Firstly look at sabs build what do you see? Yes they are all casters. ok then how much do some of the enemy casters wand for in HM? sometimes around the 60 mark. OK how can we reduce that Damage. Yeah Defensive Anthem
OK we have minions up alot of the time, So bring a BHA+Epidemic for uber interuption, and the list is endless tbh. Not only is Sabs build good but you can make it even better the more heros you have.
And finally if you dont even understand the build fully plz dont comment on it.

For areas where an MM is not possible, (and there aren't many) we normally ran a tank using adrenal axe skills. Just something to hold the aggro away from us.

And secondly, Jin and Magrid don't use epidemic well, Pyre however does for some reason, don't ask me why, I don't know.

Basically, for all the people who think MM's are inferior to MB's, they aren't if you use them correctly.

Basically the team build I posted worked like this:

Minions held the aggro away from us. Therefore we needed strong minions and a MM who could stay alive, which is why we use the IC/DB MM build. In heavy conditional areas we would put draw conditions on his bar to help with condition removal for obvious reasons but in areas where conditions were few and far between we used Mystic Regen. Basically, since the MM would take near to no damage we would flag him in first and allow the mob to concentrate aggro on him and the minions first.

Then the rest of us would run in. The BHA ranger would go straight for the monk or most dangerous caster, apply conditions, epidemic. The Burning Arrow Ranger would normally go for higher armored foes such as warriors, dervs, sins and rangers and use the degen to bypass armor level, epidemic, rinse, repeat. The glass arrow ranger would normally help take down the primary target, then focus on the stragglers who had a tough time dying.

All the while, epidemics are flying off left and right, spreading as many conditions to as many enemies as possible. Since the majority of said mob was poisoned, bleeding, burning, blind, dazed and deep wounded (Cruel Spear), they are mostly ineffective at dealing damage or healing themselves. Monks are overwhelmed and enemy parties break down fast. Any damage that does get through to us would be reduced by %25 by the paragon. This is why we use searing flames, burning arrow and a ton of epidemic.

My partner would bring all the squishy heroes (Mo, Mo, E) and I would bring the harder heroes (N, R, P). If the enemy mob broke aggro from the minions we would simply have him flag back and my group flag forward, re concentrating the aggro back onto the low armor targets (minions), once the aggro hold was re-established, the squishies move back in.

Very, very effective. The only real problem we had with this build was with areas in which there were alot of touchers who avoided the aggro hold and came straight to the back, or in areas where there werent any fleshy creatures, in which we simply put in a good tank.

Yes, Rotscale was quite the pain, we died about 4 times wiping his mob, but once we had him one v one, he went down quite easily. We figured out that it depended on his spawn. Sometimes he would spawn close to the stairs, making it impossible to kill his mob without aggroing him. We found that if you zoned in and out enough times you would eventually catch him in a spawn towards one of the back corners thus allowing you to kill his friends.

Pretty tough boss.

Your vanq build is bad, I don't care if you vanqed everything with it, pve is easy, it doesnt prove anything. You insult a build that is far superior than yours because you don't understand how it works.

Before close, can someone give a link to "Sabs build"? I've yet not found any details on what it is.

If it is what it sounds like it is, then maybe Old Mans suggestion to use an explosive growth bomber instead of the N/Mo bomber isn't that bad.

*SIGH*

I have never seen Margrid or Jin use it consistantly. I have seen Pyre use it consistantly. Therefore I base my comments on ingame experiance.

Excuse me for not knowing every single aspect and function of the game.

What was the hardest area for you to vanquish and why?
Joko's Domain. I was used to play Curses Necro, VoS Dervishes are my bane. They are also undead and leave no corpses.

What was the most frustrating area for you and why?
The Salt Flats, one of the Tyrian desert areas. Forgot the exact name. I was hunting the last mob for ages together with a friend. The desert in general requires a lot of running through endless dunes... also time-consuming.

What area took you the most tries to complete?
Eastern Frontier (around 5, starting from Serenity Temple till I figured out a way to deal damage and still be able to kill off the Grawl. Restarted quickly if it did not work)
Joko's Domain (3, till I realized that pressing the Mark of Pain Button till it went through VoS was a bit silly - an dswitched to N/Rt/Curses mix.)

What was your favorite area to vanquish and why?
Hum... the Eastern Frontier. Had somehow the right feeling of having some resistance. Also, I am German. I thought of the Charr as Russians and gave not a quarter.

What was the easiest for you to vanquish (besides Bukdek or The Temple)?
Zen Daijun, my Necro is Canthan. Had to kill one animal to complete it.

What was the toughest enemy (boss, species, or mob) for you to defeat?
VoS Dervishes (spell immune) or the Grawl Ulodyte troops in Eastern Frontier.

What advice do you have for someone who is or is about to try and get Legendary?
Read the Wiki and check the zones, what skills the enemy mobs are using and adjust your build accordingly. Do not use a "one size fits all" approach, it is always inferior and less fun.
+ Use the many legal cheat items. Powerstones and stuff make vanquishing no longer an achievement.

Edit: I would like to see this stay open.

Eastern Frontier, no contest......easiest region in the whole map to vanquish. Just start from ToA. A team of 8 steamrolls over everything there.
